Ombudsman for older people promotes the position of the older people and the realisation of their rights

The Ombudsman for older people is an autonomous and independent authority that promotes the realisation of the rights and best interest of older people. The Ombudsman for older people is responsible for making sure that the rights and status of older people are taken into consideration in legislation and decision-making.
